About the Role:
This Regional Sales Manager – Construction role is a territory-based Merlo UK Sales team position. Covering an assigned territory and dealer group the role entails holding full accountability for the day-to-day management of all Merlo construction and industrial sales matters in the territory.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager the role is responsible for ensuring the best possible levels of sales performance and customer satisfaction in territory.
This role works closely with Merlo construction dealer network to support and grow Merlo sales in their assigned territory. With a wide range of innovative material handling products to represent the role demands someone at the top of their game.
You should be a confident communicator, ideally with previous relevant construction and/or industrial machinery sales experience. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships, IT proficient with Microsoft Office & CRM experience. The role requires a degree of overnight travel predominantly in the UK, but at times internationally.
