At Alton Towers Resort, safety and exceptional guest experience go hand in hand. We are seeking motivated and vigilant Lifeguards to join our team, playing a vital role in ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, fun, and memorable visit.
As a Lifeguard you’ll be an important part of life here at Alton Towers Resort as you ensure that everyone can use the Waterpark in safety and that they have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit. This will involve you providing excellent customer care to people of all ages, supervising activities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the pool area, and ensuring the safe handling and set up of pool equipment. And of course, when needed - you’ll help to save lives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain constant surveillance of the Waterpark to ensure guest safety at all times
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, following established procedures and protocols
- Deliver outstanding customer service, engaging positively with guests of all ages
- Ensure poolside areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Safely handle, set up, and maintain pool equipment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment
- Supervise guests in our Waterpark, always ensuring their safety
- Respond swiftly to any emergencies and follow safety protocols
- Maintain high levels of customer service
- Work effectively as part of a team to create a safe and enjoyable environment

Training & Development:
We welcome applications from candidates who do not yet hold a lifeguard qualification. Full training and certification can be provided for the right individuals, along with ongoing development opportunities within the Resort.
