At Merlin Entertainments, we’re looking for a Senior Performance Manager to take the lead in driving performance insight across our global portfolio of attractions and brands. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our Growth function, where your expertise across commercial, digital, and channel performance will directly influence strategic decision-making at the highest level.
As part of our Performance team, you’ll shape how performance is tracked, understood, and optimised across the business. You’ll design and deliver compelling dashboards and reporting across key commercial and digital areas—including web and app—while ensuring the data behind them is robust, reliable, and fit for purpose. But this role goes beyond reporting; you’ll dive deep into the data to uncover trends, diagnose performance challenges, and spotlight the biggest opportunities for growth.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you’ll act as a trusted partner—translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and better outcomes. Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in consulting or a performance/analytics/strategy role within a FTSE 100 environment
- Strong experience building dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting across global markets
- Expert Power BI skills (essential), with strong Excel and data visualisation capabilities
- Proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery (essential) for data querying and pipeline automation
- Good understanding of commercial, digital, and marketing performance metrics (web & app)
- Strong focus on data quality, integrity, and accessibility
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering business impact
- Experience with Databricks, dbt, or Python is a plus
