Location: London

Fancy setting sail through the heart of London? We’re looking for big voices, big energy and big personality to join the London Eye River Cruise team as a River Cruise Host. This isn’t your average boat ride. We glide past Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the Globe and more! You’ll be the voice guiding guests through it all, turning 40 minutes into a journey packed with jaw‑dropping views, proper London legends and a few cheeky one‑liners (if that’s your thing). You’ll deliver live commentary on board, no scripts, just stories. This is your chance to bring the city to life from the deck of one of the most iconic tours on the Thames.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Grabbing the mic and giving guests a show‑stopping 40‑minute tour packed with insights, humour and energy.
  • Adding your own twist and flair to the script; we want your personality.
  • Helping guests with questions and tips, from “Where’s the best pub?” to “Is that really St Paul’s?”.
  • Working alongside the River Cruise crew to keep things safe, slick and shipshape (your safety training will be provided).
  • Jumping in to help across the wider London Eye team when needed.
  • Occasionally supporting with upsells, training new crew and giving guests a day they won’t forget.

This is a fixed‑term contract. The London Eye is open daily so full availability is needed, including weekends, bank holidays and late finishes required during peak periods.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Someone who’s buzzing to talk to a live audience – no stage fright here.
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, tours, or events is a huge plus.
  • Clear communicator who knows how to read a crowd and tell a good story.
  • A team player who isn’t fazed by wind, rain, or the British summer.
  • A genuine love for London (and helping people fall in love with it too).

Benefits:

  • We offer an hourly rate paid fortnightly.
  • Monthly Bonus Scheme based on customer service targets.
  • 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants.
  • 40% online LEGO discount.
  • You’ll also get your hands on a Merlin Magic Pass – giving you FREE tickets to our attractions across the GLOBE!

Pay Range GBP £14.04/Hr.
