We have a new and truly exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail lead to join our Retail team and support our managers as a Retail Supervisor here at London’s Madame Tussauds! As a Retail Supervisor, you’ll be ensuring our guests and visitors' experience is enhanced by working closely with the frontline retail teams and monitoring the effectiveness of our warm and welcoming customer interaction, informative approach, and ultimate sales generation. This will include ensuring staffing levels are efficient through the day, that the cleanliness of the sales areas is upkept and efficient stock levels are available. By embracing our brand and the concepts of our varied exhibitions, you’ll be key in ensuring our world-class customer service is being delivered at all times. Leading by example, you will keep a clear focus on boosting revenue and exceeding KPIs and set targets. As the Retail Supervisor, you’ll be supporting the Retail managers in operational aspects, looking at staffing levels, training and coaching, the implementation of promotions, merchandising, stock takes and much more. You will be the main point of contact and act as the department duty contact in the absence of Retail Managers. You will be liaising with other departments ensuring effective communication throughout the attraction. You monitor customer flow, positioning yourself where most effective to keep things moving smoothly throughout the day. This is a fulfilling permanent full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week. The attractions are open 7 days per week also on public and bank holidays, so this requirement would desire full flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support frontline retail teams to deliver high-quality customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure efficient operations and stock management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and visual standards in sales areas.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure effective communication across the attraction.
  • Be the department point of contact in the absence of Retail Managers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail related lead position (TL or Supervisor) working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses passion and drive to lead the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrable experience of encouraging and motivating a retail related sales team.
  • Have passion for our brand and a creative mindset.
  • Has a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Has an infectious personality who likes to create memorable experiences.
