Responsibilities:

  • Maintain attractions, exhibits and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Carry out repairs and general maintenance across a range of technical areas, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Complete routine and planned preventative maintenance to support long-term attraction performance.
  • Diagnose equipment and system faults using tools, documentation and technical expertise.
  • Support the installation, adjustment and upkeep of attraction components and interactive features.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on development by continuing to learn and build new technical skills.
  • Maintain a professional and positive presence while working in guest-facing areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • An ONC, NVQ level 2 or BTEC equivalent gained through an Apprenticeship or college route in engineering.
  • 18th Edition certification would be beneficial.
  • Inspection experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems of work.
  • The ability to read and use engineering drawings.
  • The ability to display problem solving and diagnostic skills.
