Hours: Flexible availability is required, including weekends and bank holidays. We welcome applications from candidates with Part-time or Full-time availability.
The London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London are currently recruiting for Retail and Bar Hosts to join our team. Working across both landmark attractions you will be interacting with our guests either on their journey to Far, Far Away to find Shrek or on their way to Traitors Gate.
What you will be doing
- Delivering world class customer service to every guest you interact with, whether they are buying a £2 pencil or an £80 Giant Kung Fu Panda plush.
- Creating memorable moments through friendly, confident and engaging service.
- Actively upselling products and promoting in-store offers using strong product knowledge.
- Maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards across all retail areas, following guidelines and planograms.
- Following opening and closing procedures in line with the department operation plan.
- Ensuring food safety and health and safety standards are always a top priority.
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and positive team.
- Serving guests in our immersive Victorian themed bar, from making bespoke cocktails to pulling the perfect pint.
- Having FUN while you do it.
Qualifications & Experience
- Due to the nature of this role we can only accept applications from candidates 18 and over (some shifts require selling alcohol).
- Flexibility is key as you’ll be part of a roster that includes weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Confidence in approaching and interacting with a high volume of guests every day.
- Experience in upselling and achieving sales targets.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or entertainment, with the ability to work under pressure to high standards.
- A proactive approach, always ready to support colleagues and ensure Health & Safety standards are met.
- Pride in delivering memorable experiences that go above and beyond guest expectations.
