What you’ll bring to the team

Location: London/Hybrid

Hours: 40 hours per week

The PPO Analyst supports the delivery of organisational objectives by providing expertise in agile programme, and portfolio governance, monitoring, and reporting. This role ensures consistency in agile and project management practices, facilitates decision‑making through accurate reporting, and helps optimise resource utilisation across the portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

  • This role supports portfolio delivery through governance, reporting, planning, and stakeholder support.
  • Support governance, compliance, reporting, and the tracking of milestones, budgets, risks, and resources across the portfolio.
  • Monitor risks and issues, maintain logs, support mitigation activity, and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Support resource planning, track utilisation, and help address capacity constraints across the portfolio.
  • Promote consistent standards, methodologies, tools, and continuous improvement across delivery activity.
  • Monitor budgets, provide financial reporting, and support action to address variances and risks.
  • Maintain portfolio tools and data, and provide guidance and support to users and stakeholders.
  • Act as a key contact for queries, supporting planning, reporting, meetings, and delivery activity.
  • Identify process improvements, share best practice, and support capability development across the team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in an agile PMO, project management, or portfolio management role.
  • Familiarity with delivery management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP (Managing Successful Programmes).
  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools (e.g., smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Project Online, or similar).
  • P3O (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Offices) certification is highly desirable.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
