The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

This role is to be the point of contact for guests during their stay from the evening through to the morning. You will assist them at check-in with any enquiries to ensure high levels of satisfaction. You will guide guests to their rooms, provide information about room types, facilities, and resort locations, and support the Front Office team with check-in and lobby hosting when busy.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintaining public areas clean and tidy, and preparing for the following day's events in the conference centre.
  • Auditing financial activities of the hotel and reporting any issues to the night’s duty manager.
  • Reporting potential Health & Safety hazards to the Night Manager and, if required, conducting hotel evacuations in accordance with fire and safety regulations; performing walk rounds and fire extinguisher checks during each shift.
  • Ensuring security procedures regarding guest valuables, departmental keys, floats, and hotel late-night access are strictly adhered to.
  • Dealing with guest problems, complaints, or compliments and passing on relevant information to the Reception Team Leader or hotel manager.
  • Providing guests with knowledge of room types, facilities, and resort locations.
  • Supporting the Front Office team with check-in and lobby hosting during busy periods.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A friendly, professional, and approachable manner with a passion for delivering excellent guest service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with guest enquiries, complaints, or unexpected situations.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Comfortable working independently during night shifts and taking responsibility for guest and hotel safety.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends.
