What you'll bring to the team
We are hiring for an experienced Communications Manager to lead PR, storytelling and narrative development for our loyalty and membership products, including Merlin Annual Pass and strategic loyalty programmes and partnerships globally. We are looking for a strategic communications leader with strong consumer PR expertise and experience across loyalty, membership or subscription communications.
In this role, you will help shape how Merlin Entertainments communicates value, fairness and long-term benefit to our most loyal audiences, balancing commercial priorities with customer sentiment and brand trust. You will lead communications strategy and PR activity across loyalty products, including announcements, partnerships, pricing and benefit changes, while providing senior counsel on media enquiries, customer sentiment and reputational risk.
Working cross-functionally with teams including Loyalty, CRM, Growth, Operations, Guest Experience, Legal and Corporate Affairs, you will ensure communications are clear, consistent and customer-focused across global markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years’ professional experience in PR and communications.
- Proven senior-level experience in consumer PR, product communications or brand storytelling.
- Strong track record managing sensitive issues and reputation-critical narratives.
- Experience working on subscription, loyalty, membership or customer value proposition communications, either client-side or agency-side.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong judgement and confidence operating in fast-moving or high-pressure environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across commercial, operational and corporate teams.
