We have new and exciting opportunities for Guest Experience Hosts to join our gruesome team at Edinburgh Dungeon. We're recruiting for Guest Experience Hosts to drag visitors kicking and screaming (with laughter) through Edinburgh’s most gruesome past. You’ll be greeting our rebel rabble with a cold, sarcastic grin, seeking out opportunities to interact with our guests, boost revenue and smash set daily targets. You will be open to suggesting spooky and gory products that our guests may want to purchase and will be on hand to assist our customers with any queries they may have.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a welcoming yet on-brand edgy demeanor and interact with visitors to enhance their experience.
- Assist guests with queries and guide them through Edinburgh Dungeon experiences.
- Promote products and add-ons that may interest guests to support revenue targets.
- Remain available to assist customers throughout their visit and maintain high service levels in a busy environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High-Volume Customer Service: Prove you can stay fast, friendly, and calm when dealing with massive summer crowds and long lines.
- Cash Handling & Upselling: Show you are accurate with registers and confident at encouraging tourists to buy souvenirs or add-ons.
- Strong Communication: Highlight that you are energetic, welcoming, and adaptable when talking to diverse, international visitors.
