What you’ll bring to the team:
Location: The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall, TR12 6UG
Hours: 2 days per week - Thursday & Friday
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting our operations teams across the site. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and engaging with guests
- Assisting with parking and general enquiries
- Helping to maintain high presentation standards alongside the housekeeping team
- Driving an on‑site vehicle to support guests
- Covering team breaks
- Providing ad‑hoc support with cleaning or basic maintenance tasks as needed
Must have Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing role desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and warmly with a wide range of guests
- A proactive, flexible approach with a willingness to support across different departments and tasks
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment, with the ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service standards
- Awareness of health & safety and cleanliness standards within a public‑facing environment
- Full, clean driving licence
