Location: The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall, TR12 6UG
Hours: Guaranteed 5 hours per week. Typically 2 days from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm during the summer period; off-peak hours approx. 11:00 am to 2:00/3:00 pm. Cover required Thursday-Monday when the other cleaner is on leave.
Contract Type: Permanent, bi-weekly pay
Responsibilities
- Ensure the attraction is litter-free, clean, hygienic, and presentable for guests.
- Clean all attraction spaces, staff areas, visitor and staff toilets, and interact with guests by answering questions and providing assistance.
- Maintain high cleaning standards and engage with visitors to enhance their experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You work to a high standard and have great attention to detail.
- You are comfortable handling cleaning products and chemicals (training is provided).
- Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.
- Willingness to work outdoors is required.
- You can work independently and use initiative.
- You have a friendly personality.
- You are confident talking to guests.
- You are physically fit, able to walk up and down a steep hill and move between different areas of the site.
