We are recruiting for a Training & Compliance Coordinator to join our awesome Technical Services Team! As Training & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a vital part in supporting the Technical Services function at Thorpe Park Resort by providing accurate, well-organised and reliable administrative support across all training and compliance activities. You will help ensure that regulatory, safety and internal standards are consistently met, contributing directly to the safe and effective operation of the park.
You will be responsible for maintaining robust document control across Technical Services, managing training and compliance documentation through shared drives and systems, and ensuring records are complete, traceable and up to date. This includes producing regular reports, supporting audits and spot checks, and helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The role will involve active monitoring of compliance processes, liaising with internal stakeholders and external bodies, tracking actions and supporting the close-out of findings.
You’ll also assist with the administration of statutory inspections and third-party reports, helping to ensure all obligations are met on time and correctly recorded. On the training side, you will maintain training and competence records, support the coordination of inductions and on-site training activity, and work closely with the Training & Development Manager to ensure staff qualifications, refreshers and competencies are tracked and compliant with policy. You’ll also support the creation and updating of training documentation, helping to raise awareness and understanding of training and compliance requirements across Technical Services.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse information and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a training, compliance or administrative role, ideally within an industrial, engineering or technical environment
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including data manipulation, formulas, filtering, lookups, charts and error checking)
- Experience maintaining accurate records, reports and document control systems
- Awareness of health and safety and compliance requirements, such as LOLER, PSSR, COSHH or similar industry guidance
- Knowledge or awareness of HSG175 (Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks: Guidance on Safe Practice) would be advantageous
- Proactive, organised and able to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Willingness to support on-site training, inductions and wider operational needs when required
