As an O2C Associate, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) process, ensuring timely billing, collections, and cash allocation while maintaining accurate customer ledgers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers, proactively monitoring accounts to ensure payments are received on time and resolving queries within agreed deadlines. The role involves issuing billing documentation within strict timelines, reconciling accounts, addressing pricing discrepancies in collaboration with trade teams, and ensuring month-end deadlines are met. You will also focus on minimising bad debt, maintaining a positive ledger position, and contributing to onboarding clients into new ways of working as part of a project team, all while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing, credit control, or collections (or relevant finance degree advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Confident in all aspects of credit control and sales ledger processes
- Proactive, resilient, and able to influence outcomes
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, particularly in payment allocation and reconciliations
- A collaborative team player with a customer-focused mindset
