As the Resort Operations and Experience Director for LEGOLAND Windsor, you will oversee park and accommodation operations, security, incident management, and entertainment to ensure a seamless and safe guest experience. Reporting to the Vice President, you will lead a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, maintaining service standards, and fostering engagement across the resort.
You will be responsible for monitoring KPIs, managing budgets, implementing safety protocols, and continuously improving operational performance. Your role includes leading special events, optimising guest flow, and ensuring effective incident management and regulatory compliance. Through strategic leadership, employee development, and cross-departmental collaboration, you will enhance guest satisfaction and drive long-term success. Additionally, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring operational efficiency, high team morale, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Significant experience in the visitor attractions, hospitality, or entertainment sectors, particularly in managing high-footfall environments.
- Direct experience overseeing multi-functional teams and managing daily operations with a guest-first approach.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong track record of driving employee engagement, satisfaction, and development through targeted coaching initiatives.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning, including attraction master planning and cross-resort collaborations.
- Extensive leadership experience in senior management roles, preferably overseeing multiple business units or regions.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to execute long-term business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, financial management, and P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance operational efficiency and drive performance across diverse teams.
