Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for an Reliability and Improvements Manager to join our Technical Services team!
We’re looking for someone to lead the development and delivery of effective maintenance strategies across our resort. You\’ll be responsible for managing and evolving our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring it supports statutory, preventive, and predictive maintenance. You\’ll also drive the use of problem and defect management tools to support data-led decision-making.
A key part of the role involves promoting a culture of continuous improvement within engineering and facilities teams. You’ll lead change, ensure maintenance processes are accurate and effective, and help reduce costs while boosting reliability, guest satisfaction, and team efficiency.
You\’ll work closely with Engineering and Facilities teams to resolve recurring issues, support planning and sustainability efforts, and lead projects through both operational and off-peak seasons.
Qualifications & Experience
- HNC or Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Business, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Strong experience with analytics and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Quick Sight, QlikView)
- Lean Six Sigma certification or relevant experience is preferred
- Previous experience working within an Engineering/Technical field would be desirable
- Understanding of field service management, reliability engineering, and cost-effective operational improvements
- Experience in planned maintenance, spare part management, and use of diagnostic/remote monitoring tools
- Excellent analytical skills – able to work with large, complex datasets to generate insights
- Advanced Excel skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Structured, logical thinker with clear and accurate written/verbal communication
- Proactive, organised self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and project planning experience
- Experience in project management is desirable
