If you enjoy being at the heart of the action, coordinating people and movement with a smile, and turning busy moments into brilliant experiences, this role puts you right where the excitement happens.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee the safe and efficient daily operation of the London Eye Pier.
  • Manage vessel movements, passenger flow, and queue systems.
  • Coordinate charter schedules and real‑time operational changes.
  • Deliver high‑quality customer service and resolve queries.
  • Liaise with boat operators and external agencies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Communicate key updates to the team and management.
  • Maintain accurate headcounts, capacity logs, and required paperwork.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Support strong working relationships across operators and Duty Management.
  • Meet customer service KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Perform other operational duties as required.

This role requires flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days, averaging 40 hours per week during peak periods, with early and late shifts between 7:45am and 9:00pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced working in high‑pressure and busy environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including delivering clear public announcements.
  • Reliable timekeeping and comfortable working within scheduled, service‑driven operations.
  • Calm and composed under pressure with strong situational awareness and proactive risk‑spotting.
  • Guest‑focused, service‑oriented, and able to anticipate and respond to customer needs.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working outdoors and adjusting to changing operational demands.
