Welcoming guests from around the world, the London Eye offers a unique way to experience London, from its historic landmarks to its ever-changing skyline. Behind every rotation is a team committed to delivering an exceptional experience, safely, smoothly and with care.
We're looking for a Ride Shift Leader to help lead that team. Working closely with the Ride Manager and fellow Shift Leaders, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Ride department, balancing time between leading your team and operating the attraction on a rota basis. You'll create an environment where colleagues feel supported, engaged and equipped to perform at their best, while ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding experience.
This is a role where operational excellence matters. The team is responsible for ticket scanning, supporting accurate attendance reporting and profit protection, while also overseeing the safe and efficient loading of guests. You'll lead from the front, helping to maintain the highest standards of safety, guest experience and operational performance within one of the UK's most visited attractions.
This is a permanent, full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a customer-focused environment
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
- The ability to motivate, develop and support a team
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working in a busy operational environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A strong commitment to health, safety and operational excellence
- 18 years or older due to health and safety requirements
