Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Lifeguard/Leisure Duty to join our Hotel Leisure team on a fixed term basis!

In this role you will provide supervision of the pool area, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and that our staff and guests' safety always remains our number one priority. You will perform regular pool inspections to confirm it is safe for use and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the club.

As part of a small, efficient team, you will also support the club reception by welcoming guests, responding to their questions and concerns, and providing a warm, approachable presence as a trusted member of the leisure club team. Additionally, you will be required to take on the department Duty role as and when required.

This role is full time fixed term until around August 2026, averaging 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, which will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A people’s person with great communication skills, lots of passion & energy and a real team spirit
  • Previous experience managing a team within the Leisure Industry
  • A valid NPLQ qualification is essential for this role and ideally you will have a first aid at work certificate.
