Do you have the leadership skills to dive deep into the world of SEA LIFE Blackpool and bring The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse to life? We’re looking for a Head of Operations to ensure every visitor’s adventure is smooth, safe and filled with unforgettable moments.

As the driving force behind two of Blackpool’s most magical attractions, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations, inspire a passionate team and make sure that from rockpools to deep-sea wonders and deep dark woods to dragon school, every guest experience is roaringly good.

What will you do?

  1. Make a splash by ensuring SEA LIFE Blackpool runs seamlessly, delivering exceptional marine encounters.
  2. Bring stories to life at The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse, crafting an immersive and playful world for families.
  3. Lead and inspire a team to provide safe, engaging and memorable experiences every day.
  4. Balance the books – manage budgets, drive revenue and optimise performance.
  5. Champion health and safety, ensuring a secure and magical visit for guests of all ages.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Proven experience in operations management, ideally in visitor attractions, hospitality or leisure.
  2. A guest-obsessed mindset with a passion for creating immersive and engaging experiences.
  3. Strong leadership skills – able to motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team.
  4. A commercial mindset, with experience in budget management and driving revenue.
  5. A love for storytelling, adventure and making memories that last a lifetime.
