Looking for a part-time, seasonal job packed with FUN? Get ready to join us at the world’s oldest operating aquarium here at SEA LIFE Brighton! You’ll be working out on the front-line within the attraction, welcoming, greeting, interacting with and helping our guests at every opportunity, ensuring they get the absolute most from their visit.
You could be selling a memento of our guests' amazing experience or supporting them to stock up on SEA LIFE related goodies, answering any questions guests may have and acting as a sales representative. If working in the Guest Experience department you’ll be working with school visits, self-guided tours, workshops for schools, on our exclusive glass bottom boat VIP experience or even giving daily creature presentations. You may also find yourself dressing up in costume or assisting the site displays team with animal feeds. Whatever the role, you will find yourself helping customers as they make their way throughout the attraction, ensuring our guests have an intimate ocean experience.
This is a seasonal position, contracted until October 2026. Flexibility is essential as availability of work will vary throughout the season.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or a public-facing role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain visitors.
- Experience with processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a public setting.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with an ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
