Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Security Controller to join our Security team!

As a Security Controller you will assist in the daily co-ordination of the Resort and Security operation, ensuring that all Health, Safety and Security procedures and policies are being met. Along with monitoring CCTV and taking initial charge of any emergency situations.

You will take control of all communication networks, ensuring efficient and appropriate Resort wide communication, and driving a culture of effective and clear information sharing across all departments.

Playing a part in the Attraction Incident Management Team, you will be required to remain calm under pressure, be adaptable to change, be innovative and fast moving, and take a proactive approach to all situations.

The role will require working flexible hours, including Early, Lates, Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays to support our Resort operation with active patrols.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • An active, in date SIA license (Door Supervisor Level 2).
  • Ideally hold an SIA CCTV Operator license (desirable, but not essential)
  • Experienced in the use of CCTV systems.
  • Proficient in a variety of communications systems, including radio and telephone use.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires great administrative skills, with experience in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to remain calm in high-pressure situations, with the ability to prioritise tasks and handle a high workload.
