Working as a Team Leader for Retail & Fastrack at Thorpe Park means helping us to create memorable experiences, as well as taking every opportunity to maximise sales and revenue each day. Alongside responsibility for your units, you will play a vital role in delivering the day-to-day operation of the department (including undertaking Duty Manager shifts), whilst following and enforcing Health & Safety guidelines and policies to ensure we keep all our guests and colleagues safe.
Responsibilities:
- To help and support the Retail & Fastrack department in achieving sales, profit protection, service and H&S targets and standards.
- Daily operation of units, ensuring the opening and closing is completed, handling queries from both guests & team members and using enhanced till privileges to perform refunds, cashing out and financial checks
- Assisting the Retail & Fastrack Management Team by overseeing seasonal host and senior host teams and supporting with performance management & development
- Conduct regular mystery shop audits and be prepared to give feedback & development points directly to the member of staff involved
- Ensure that the shops, units and kiosks are always presented in an industry leading way, with cleanliness, accuracy of pricing and stock availability in the forefront
- Ability to make and act upon day-to-day decisions confidently and independently to ensure that the department is represented in a positive way to the wider park
