Position: Team Member – Waltham Cross
Hours per week: 30. Pay rate: £13.25 – £14.75 per hour. Night rate: £14.75 per hour (23:00‑06:00).
Responsibilities
- Ensure housekeeping standards at the venue, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customers’ actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive behaviour.
- Assist with administration, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Help ensure that promotions run smoothly and successfully.
- Deliver customer service in line with company standards, achieving "customer satisfaction".
- Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
- Interact with customers throughout the shift, intervening as appropriate and logging interactions per policy.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, adhering to the brand dress code while on duty.
- Achieve, maintain and impart great product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
- Understand all company policies and procedures around safeguarding.
- Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers on grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Experience working in retail, hospitality or gambling environments.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Flexible and dedicated; able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and bank holidays.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Industry and compliance training will be provided.
