About the role

You will work as a Team Member at MERKUR Slots, ensuring customers receive a welcoming and high‑quality gaming experience. You will perform housekeeping, service rounds, monitor customer behaviour, assist with administration, support promotions, and maintain brand presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain venue housekeeping standards, cleaning equipment, floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Provide service rounds and refreshments following brand guidelines.
  • Monitor customer actions and behaviour, reporting suspicious or disruptive conduct.
  • Assist with administration to 100% accuracy.
  • Support promotions to run smoothly and successfully.
  • Deliver customer service in line with company standards and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Own and resolve problems, escalating appropriately per the complaints policy.
  • Log customer interactions in accordance with policies.
  • Maintain personal presentation and adhere to dress code.
  • Impart product knowledge to enhance customer journey and enjoyment.
  • Understand and apply safeguarding policies and challenge harassment, victimisation, or discrimination.

Qualifications and experience

  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience delivering outstanding customer service in retail, hospitality, or gambling environments.
  • Flexible and able to work on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Industry and compliance training will be provided.
