Position Overview: Team Member – Nights (Part Time) at MERKUR Slots, Tooting. 38 hours per week. Pay £13.25 – £14.75 per hour, with a premium of £14.75 for shifts between 23:00 and 06:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest standard; clean gaming equipment, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive actions.
- Assist with administrative tasks to 100% accuracy.
- Help promotions run smoothly and successfully.
- Provide customer service in line with company standards, achieving customer satisfaction.
- Own and resolve problems, escalating appropriately in accordance with the complaints policy.
- Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy.
- Maintain high personal presentation and adhere to the dress code while on duty.
- Communicate product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
- Understand safeguarding and challenge policies; actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication and people skills with a passion for first‑class service.
- Flexible and able to work a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
