Team Member – Nights (Part Time) – Brighton
Hours per week: 20
Pay rate: £13.25 – £14.75 per hour
Night rate (23:00–06:00): £14.75 per hour
About you
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and has a passion for providing first‑class service. You must be flexible, available on a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environments
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer service
- Willingness to learn, develop and adapt to changing requirements
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Flexible and dedicated, able to work on a rota basis with weekends and bank holidays
- Ability to work on your own initiative and in a team setting
- Will receive industry and compliance training
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest housekeeping standards for the venue, cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces
- Offer refreshments and service rounds in line with brand guidelines
- Monitor customer behaviour, identifying suspicious or disruptive actions and report as required
- Assist with administrative tasks accurately and to 100% precision
- Support promotion execution to ensure smooth and successful outcomes
- Deliver customer service in line with company standards, aiming for customer satisfaction
- Own and resolve problems, escalating when appropriate and following the complaints policy
- Log interactions with customers according to policy, and intervene when necessary
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to the brand dress code whilst on duty
- Communicate product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures around safeguarding, and actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination on grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief
