Position: Team Member – Maidstone

As a Team Member at MERKUR Slots in Maidstone, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming environment and delivering a top‑class gaming experience.

Compensation & Hours

Hours per week: 40. Pay: £12.84‑£13.84 per hour; night rate £13.84 per hour (23:00‑06:00).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain housekeeping standards for lighting, floors, walls, gaming equipment and other surfaces.
  • Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor customer behaviour for suspicious or disruptive activity; log incidents per policy.
  • Assist with administration, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Support promotions to run smoothly and successfully.
  • Provide customer service that meets company standards, aiming for customer satisfaction.
  • Own and resolve problems, escalating appropriately and following the complaints policy.
  • Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and dress code.
  • Communicate product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
  • Understand policies on safeguarding, harassment, and discrimination; actively discourage such behaviour.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or gambling environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and attend industry and compliance training.
  • Flexible to work on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Attention to detail and initiative, both independently and as part of a team.
