About the Role
Working as a Team Member you help create the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience, ensuring customers feel welcome and receive high-quality service.
- Ensure the venue is kept to the highest possible standard through regular cleaning of gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces (housekeeping).
- Deliver service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer behaviour for any actions considered suspicious or disruptive and act in line with venue policies.
- Assist with administration as required to achieve 100% accuracy.
- Support promotions to run smoothly and be a success.
- Provide customer service in line with company standards, aiming for customer satisfaction.
- Own and resolve problems, escalating when appropriate according to the complaints policy.
- Interact with customers during shifts and document interactions as required by policies.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to the brand dress code while on duty.
- Build product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
- Actively discourage harassment, victimisation or discrimination against employees, management or customers on protected grounds.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills with a passion for first-class service.
- Flexible and able to work on a rota basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Ability to work on initiative and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environments is desirable.
- Willingness to learn and develop; attention to detail.
- Industry and compliance training will be provided.
