Supervisor Nights – Dover
Hours per week: 40
Pay Rate: £13.53 – £14.53 per hour (Night Rate £14.53 between 23:00 and 06:00).
Responsibilities
- Support and mentor team members, ensuring targets are achieved and maintaining morale and productivity.
- Receive industry and compliance training.
- Take full responsibility for opening, trading and closure of the venue.
- Assist venue manager in day‑to‑day activities.
- Ensure interior/exterior standards and housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Establish and maintain customer service standards and maximise income.
- Implement marketing/promotion activities to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Assist senior managers to maximise business opportunities within the venue.
- Ensure venue cash collections are carried out accurately and timely.
- Ensure all company security procedures are adhered to by all employees.
- Conduct regular, random checks of floats, keys and other items on employees, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Ensure the safety of all employees and members of the public.
- Complete all daily, weekly and periodical administration on time and to required standard.
- Deal with day‑to‑day problems arising from employees within the venue.
- Establish and maintain a good working environment.
- Promote the company positively when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Actively manage and promote safeguarding and social‑responsibility measures while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation and discrimination of any kind against employees and customers on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within gaming, retail, hospitality or a related industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in leading and mentoring others.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts (if venue operates 24 hours).
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong initiative and adaptability.
