At Leeds Casino we are seeking for experienced and professional Poker Dealers to provide a professional, fair, and entertaining gaming experience for players at Leeds Casino.

The successful candidates will manage poker tables efficiently, ensure compliance with gaming regulations, and maintain a high standard of customer service while conducting games with accuracy and integrity.

About you

  • Deal poker games professionally and efficiently in accordance with casino policies and gaming regulations.
  • Shuffle and distribute cards accurately while maintaining game integrity.
  • Manage betting rounds, collect and distribute chips, and calculate pots correctly.
  • Monitor gameplay to ensure rules are followed and disputes are resolved promptly and fairly.
  • Verify player eligibility and report any suspicious or irregular activity.
  • Maintain a friendly, engaging, and professional atmosphere at the table.
  • Communicate game procedures and house rules to players when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of incidents, disputes, or irregularities.
  • Handle cash and gaming chips responsibly and securely.
  • Collaborate with floor supervisors and management to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Duties include but not limited to

  • Dealing table games to a high standard, in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Providing a high level of customer service.
  • Provides correct game commentary.
  • Demonstrates good table security.
  • Informs inspectors, Pit Boss or Casino Manager on any players to note.
  • Complies with all policies and procedures.
  • To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
  • To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
  • To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures. Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
