In the UK, we currently operate over 220 high street Adult Gaming Centres under our MERKUR Slots Brand.**About you:**We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work on a rota basis that includes weekends and Bank Holidays. You must be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.* Experience working in a similar role in retail, hospitality or gambling sector.* Keen to learn and progress* Eager to support the training of others* Be a role model for the team* Experienced in cash handling* Industry and compliance training will be given**Benefits:*** 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)* Monthly Bonus Scheme* Excellent Career Progression Opportunities* Contributory Pension Scheme* Life Assurance* Discounts with high street retailers and restaurants through our benefits portal* Employee assistance programme**Duties include but not limited to:*** To take full responsibility for the opening, trading and closure of the venue in the absence of the Venue Manager/ Assistant Manager.* To ensure that the venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.* To issue customers with change as required and to control any personal float allocated, in accordance with company procedures.* To assist with bingo, catering or any other duties as required or directed by the Venue/Duty Manager.* To payout for machine faults in line with Company procedures when authorised to do so by the Venue/Duty Manager.* To monitor the actions and behaviour of customers, noting any behaviour considered to be suspicious and/or disruptive to the smooth operation of the venue and reporting this behaviour to the Venue Manager.* To ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to, reporting any potential hazards to the Venue Manager.* To assist with any administration as required to 100% accuracy.* To help ensure that promotions run smoothly and are a success.* To ensure that customer service is carried out in line with company standards and results in \”customer delight\”.* To ensure that customer complaints are brought to the attention of a member of management as quickly as possible.* To maintain a high standard of personal presentation ensuring the Company’s dress code is always adhered to.* To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.MERKUR Slots does not, under any circumstances, make hiring or employment decisions on the basis of any prohibited ground; including but not limited to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation or any other basis protected by law or prohibited by Company policy.
