The cleaner role is to ensure that areas are cleaned efficiently and in accordance with regulations through following COSHH, Health & Safety procedures and rules and escalating issues to their line manager.

About you:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning processes.
  • Awareness of COSHH processes for using, handling and storing chemicals.
  • Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.
  • Ideally candidates will live in Milton Keynes.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure that service standards and levels of customer care are maintained and developed.
  • To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the casino.
  • To ensure cleaning standards and procedures are adhered to.
  • To use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed, safely and economically; to inform Line Manager when stocks are low.
  • To ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to Line Manager.
  • Complete washroom/toilet cleaning, as well as periodic checks, ensuring the checks are recorded in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Empty and clean bins (including ashtrays) and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e. recycling.
  • To clean internal glass and internal and external door glass.
  • Report to Line Manager any defects seen which are likely to affect security i.e. broken/cracked window etc.
  • Cleaners will be required to use electrical and mechanical equipment, floor polishers etc. after appropriate training.
  • To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
  • To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
  • To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP).
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.
  • Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.

In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
