We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Cashiers to join our casino team. As an experienced cashier you would have the ability to carry out and record cash desk transactions with a high level of accuracy and in line with company procedures and relevant business regulations, at all times providing consistently positive customer service and safeguarding the company assets.

About you:

  • Previous casino cashier experience
  • Be able to calculate all transactions quickly and correctly
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good understanding of cash desk manual operating procedures
  • Knowledge of AML / SG legislation
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Personal Functional Licence (PFL) for the duration of employment in this role
  • Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • To provide all guests with excellent and attentive service
  • To ensure all policies and procedures in company manuals are strictly adhered to
  • Adhere to all LCCP, AMLD, SG, Health and Safety and Fire Regulations
  • Responsible for a full Cash Desk reconciliation
  • Chip handling and conversions
  • Receive cash and prepare cash for banking
  • Maintain ATM’s and ticket redemption machines
  • Updating points/player tracking for customers
  • Perform end of day PDQ reconciliations
  • Proficient at dealing with basic administration/bookkeeping tasks
  • Complete reports as necessary
  • Assist other departments with fills/credits/floats
  • All duties should be performed to a very high standard at all times
  • To communicate suspicious and major transactions with gaming managers
  • Have good knowledge of current offers and promotions
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures
  • Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives

In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
