Position: Gaming Inspector

Location: Milton Keynes Casino

Hours Per Week: 40

Pay Rate: £14.77 per hour

The inspector’s key responsibility is monitoring the table gaming and ensuring the games are being dealt correctly in line with gaming procedures, monitoring players and reporting where necessary and assisting the Casino Manager/Pit Boss in the successful running of the gaming operation.

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a gaming inspector/supervisor or other relevant experience.
  • Must possess a Personal Functional License (Gaming).
  • Strong knowledge of table gaming.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the table games are being dealt in line with current gaming procedures.
  • Ensuring the integrity and the fairness of the table games is adhered to.
  • Reporting to Casino Manager/Pit Boss on any players of note.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and development of croupiers.
  • Demonstrates strong table gaming knowledge.
  • May be required to deal table games.
  • To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
  • To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
  • To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP).
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures. Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.

In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
