We are seeking a Poker Dealer to work at the Aberdeen Casino. The role involves dealing table games to a high standard and delivering excellent customer service as part of MERKUR Casino, a leading provider of gaming services in the UK.
Hours: 40 per week | Pay: £13.27 per hour | Location: Aberdeen
Responsibilities
- Deal table games to a high standard in line with company policy and procedures.
- Provide a high level of customer service and correct game commentary.
- Demonstrate good table security and inform inspectors, Pit boss or Casino Manager of any players to note.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and health and safety practices.
- Promote the company professionally and positively with internal and external contacts.
- Ensure the equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
- Attend and conduct meetings as required.
- Understand and ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission licence codes of conduct and practice.
- Promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures and ensure they are integral to daily operations.
- Be proactive in safeguarding customers and the business by maintaining the highest level of compliance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- May undertake additional or alternative duties as directed by line management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a poker dealer or other relevant experience.
- Must possess a Personal Functional License (PFL).
- Strong table gaming knowledge.
- Experience dealing Texas HoldEm Poker is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.
- Ideally based in or near Milton Keynes.
