Location & Hours

Location: Leeds Casino

Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is required.

Position & Pay

Position: Poker Supervisor

Pay Rate: £14 per hour Plus an additional £1.00 per hour for all hours worked between 11:00pm and 6:00am

About the Role

At Leeds Casino we are seeking for experienced and professional Poker Supervisors to oversee the daily operations of the poker room, ensure compliance with gaming regulations, support poker dealers, and deliver an exceptional player experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of poker games and procedures, and the ability to effectively manage staff and resolve customer concerns.

About You

• Previous experience as a Poker Supervisor, Poker Floor person, or Senior Poker Dealer.
• Strong knowledge of poker variants including Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Seven-Card Stud, and tournament structures.
• Thorough understanding of gaming regulations, compliance requirements, and responsible gaming practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent conflict resolution and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Duties

• Dealing table games to a high standard, in line with company policy and procedures.
• Providing a high level of customer service.
• Provides correct game commentary.
• Demonstrates good table security.
• Informs inspectors, Pit Boss or Casino Manager on any players to note.
• Complies with all policies and procedures.
• To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
• To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
• To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
• To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
• Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
• To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.
• Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
• To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
