BX is dentsu UK&I’s strategy and transformation capability, housed within Merkle. Our remit is to deliver high-impact strategy and transformation engagements for our clients and enable cross-practice growth. We position ourselves as our clients’ go-to partner for future-fit business and experience transformation, delivering measurable business and customer growth through our blend of strategic and consulting rigour, human insight, and storytelling.

BX supports brands in achieving transformational outcomes, including revenue diversification through new business models; product and service innovation; organisational redesign; cultural and change management; and customer engagement strategies that drive value, loyalty and growth.

Our expertise spans three core areas:

  • Business Strategy: defining where to play and how to win; identifying new paths to growth, evolving business models, and driving customer-led innovation to create competitive advantage.
  • Change & Transformation: designing and executing future-ready operating models and change strategies.
  • Customer Strategy: shaping end-to-end customer strategies that align customer needs with business goals to drive value, loyalty, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be focused on high quality delivery on workstreams across Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Service Transformation, and Change Management.
  • Develop and manage your client and internal relationships, ensuring high-quality project delivery (target 85% utilisation).
  • Identify opportunities, collaborate with data and technology teams to translate and advise on how AI can enable business transformation, improve customer experience and drive operational efficiency.
  • Take initiative to develop areas of expertise in your area(s) of interest, and actively contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Act as a role model; and be regularly sought out after for views by peers and the wider team.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and innovative technology and their implications for business models, ensuring recommendations are future-facing.

Qualifications + Skills

  • 3-5 years of consulting experience at a leading strategy house or consulting firm.
  • An emerging specialism in one or multiple areas of Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Service Transformation, or Change Management.
  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation with the ability to challenge conventional views and present ideas persuasively to gain buy-in.
  • Able to translate strategy and strategic thinking into executable solutions.
  • A strong collaborator who can coordinate and influence a collective team-based client relationship across complex matrix structures, both internally and externally, and manage significant stakeholders and key industry relationships.
  • Confident building relationships and presenting to C-suite clients.
  • Understanding of innovative technology concepts and applications in business context, and the ability to articulate the value of solutions to senior stakeholders and integrate into transformation roadmaps.
