By building strong customer relationships and understanding each client’s needs, you will position our products and services effectively and help drive revenue growth.

This role is ideal for someone who has knowledge of industrial sites, plant and equipment, and the operational drivers where waste management is central to these activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential customers, including refineries, distilleries, marine facilities, defence sites, wastewater treatment plants and food and beverage manufacturers.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach (cold calling), site visits, networking and referrals.
  • Use your understanding of industrial cleaning methods (e.g. tank and vessel cleaning, high‑pressure water jetting, confined space entry, and waste removal) to shape tailored solutions for each customer.
  • Present, promote and sell our products and services, acting as a credible technical and professional ambassador for the organisation.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales and repeat business.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs in collaboration with the Business Development Team and Managing Director.
  • Prepare and deliver structured presentations, proposals and product demonstrations that clearly outline technical scope, safety considerations and commercial value.
  • Conduct market research within industrial sectors to identify emerging opportunities, customer challenges and service gaps.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to negotiate contracts and close deals that are commercially sound.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and customer feedback to management to support planning and service development.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and service expertise, market trends and competitor activities.
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice and trusted technical partner to industrial clients.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Highly motivated and target‑driven, with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within industrial cleaning, waste management, environmental services or related industrial sectors.
  • Good understanding of industrial environments and site operations, with the ability to engage credibly with stakeholders.
  • Well‑developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong emotional and social intelligence when working with diverse on‑site and office‑based teams.
  • Engaging presentation style, with the ability to explain technical services clearly and influence decision‑making at multiple levels.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and numerical) to prepare proposals, interpret data and communicate with colleagues and customers.
  • Relationship management experience, with a focus on long‑term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office, for producing proposals, reports and presentations.
  • Proven commitment to delivering consistently high standards of work and customer service.
  • A proactive, results‑driven approach, comfortable working independently in the field and managing your own schedule.
  • Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise work across multiple accounts and projects.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with colleagues to deliver services.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
