We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to lead and evolve a first-line risk and compliance function within a growing financial services organisation. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll shape and embed risk frameworks, drive regulatory compliance, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in strengthening risk maturity, supporting business growth, and ensuring the organisation operates within its regulatory obligations.

- Strategic Risk Leadership
- Lead the design and implementation of risk and compliance frameworks
- Translate enterprise risk strategy into practical controls and actions
- Oversee enterprise-wide risk identification processes
- Lead and evolve Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
- Identify trends, control gaps, and emerging risks
- Provide clear, pragmatic guidance on regulatory requirements
- Lead responses to audits, reviews, and regulatory engagement
- Assess and implement regulatory changes
- Conduct horizon scanning and impact analysis
- Support strategic planning and business readiness
- Deliver high-quality reporting to executive and board committees
- Provide insight to support decision-making and risk oversight
- Ensure risk and compliance are embedded in transformation programmes
- Provide oversight of risks associated with change initiatives
You’ll be a confident and credible risk professional with strong leadership experience and the ability to operate at a strategic level.
Significant experience in risk, compliance, or governance roles within financial services.
Strong knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations and regulatory frameworks.
Experience designing and embedding risk and compliance frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Experience leading teams and building capability.
Ability to translate complex regulation into practical business solutions.
