Are you an experienced insurance professional looking for an opportunity to shape and manage a dynamic insurance portfolio? Our client is looking to recruiting the role of Insurance Manager within their Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. In this role you will play a key role in supporting our business through risk management and insurance solutions.

About the Role

As Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the UK insurance portfolio, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective risk transfer and protection for our business. Reporting to the Group Insurance Manager, you will drive key initiatives, support internal projects, and help embed robust risk management processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring accurate data collection and fair representation.

🔹 Identify emerging risks and propose effective risk transfer solutions.

🔹 Manage mid-term alterations and policy administration.

🔹 Provide expert insurance advice to stakeholders across the business.

🔹 Work with brokers, insurers, and internal teams to manage claims efficiently.

🔹 Strengthen the company’s defence against negligence claims by embedding proactive risk management.

🔹 Support global travel risk management and insurance initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in insurance risk management within an underwriter, broker or insurer.

✅ Strong understanding of UK/global insurance programmes and risk management principles.

✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

✅ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present complex data.

✅ Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

✅ Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.
