A high-growth, technology-led financial services business is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead its UK compliance function during an exciting period of expansion. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining the firm's UK compliance framework, policies and governance structures.
- Acting as the primary point of contact with the FCA and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Supporting regulatory authorisations, market entry initiatives and ongoing supervisory requirements.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and advising senior stakeholders on their impact.
- Designing and overseeing compliance monitoring, testing and reporting programmes.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls and remediation plans.
- Providing oversight across Consumer Duty, financial crime, AML, KYC, data privacy and conduct risk frameworks.
- Supporting product governance, distribution oversight, marketing compliance and customer outcome reviews.
- Establishing complaint handling and regulatory reporting processes.
- Delivering compliance guidance and training across the business.
- Working closely with commercial, product, operations and legal teams to ensure regulatory considerations are embedded within business activities.
