MERJE is seeking a talented Fraud Strategy Lead for our client, a leading Financial Services business.

As the Fraud Strategy Lead, you\’ll manage a team of highly skilled professionals, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role offers the opportunity to shape fraud prevention strategies and contribute to the company\’s growth in a rapidly evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities of the Fraud Strategy Lead:

  • Lead and manage the Transactional Fraud Strategy Team
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to meet internal and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and industry bodies, attend relevant events
  • Collaborate with various teams to embed fraud prevention measures in products and services
  • Provide regular reporting on fraud & financial crime KPIs and trends
  • Implement and maintain fraud prevention strategies and systems

Required knowledge and experience for the Fraud Strategy Lead role:

  • 5+ years of experience in fraud & financial crime, with a focus on transactional fraud strategy
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in fraud & financial crime typologies
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytical skills and utilising effective analytics to drive fraud strategy
  • Knowledge of 3DS
