The Financial Reporting Manager position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to lead critical reporting functions within a well-established Motor Finance organisation. Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Manager- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Manage the month-end and year-end financial reporting cycles, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting processes and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members, supporting their professional development
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in financial reporting within a regulated or complex financial services environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
- Proven ability to manage financial reporting cycles and deliver accurate reports to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
