MERJE are partnered with a Regional Building Society in their search for a Financial Controller / Head of Finance. In this role you will manage the Middle Office Finance function and report directly into the Finance Director.

You will be responsible for:

  • The preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts
  • Monthly Management Accounts
  • Key Performance MI
  • Strategic Business Plans
  • Financial Stress Testing
  • The preparation of accurate and timely submission of information to the Society’s regulators
  • Fulfilling the decision-making duties required as a member of the ALCO, Mortgage Credit Risk and management Risk Committee
  • Participation in, contribution to and support with the Society’s overall strategic goals, aims and objectives, in a compliant and transparent manner providing leadership and direction to the Finance team
  • Management of all relevant outsourced and third party relationships within Finance, ensuring compliance with the Society’s Outsourcing and Third Party Suppliers policy

To be considered for this role you must come from a Retail Banking background and have a thorough understanding of Mortgages and Savings.
