Job Description A leading FCA-regulated financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Risk to lead and enhance its enterprise risk management framework. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity to shape the organisation's risk strategy, governance framework and operational resilience agenda, while working closely with Executive leadership and the Board. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Designing and embedding a risk-based governance programme across the business. Developing risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring processes. Owning the Risk Appetite Framework, Risk Registers and Board reporting. Partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure risk is embedded into strategic decision-making. Leading the organisation's Operational Resilience strategy and framework. Overseeing incident management, root cause analysis and control improvements. Working closely with Internal Audit to ensure effective oversight of key risks. Producing insightful reporting for Executive Committees and the Board. Driving a strong, positive risk culture across the organisation. Leading and developing a high-performing risk team.
