An established and highly regarded independent wealth management firm is looking to appoint a Financial Planner to join its growing team. This is a rare opportunity to inherit an existing client bank (£9m–£14.5m AUA) while also having the flexibility to shape the role around your strengths – whether that’s relationship management or business development.

The Opportunity

Clients

You will work with a diverse client base including business owners, professionals and high-net-worth individuals, as well as younger clients at earlier stages of their financial journey. The firm takes a long‑term, relationship‑led approach and does not operate rigid minimum thresholds.

The Role

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments and protection
  • Manage and develop ongoing client relationships
  • Conduct suitability reports, cashflow modelling and advice delivery
  • Identify and support new business opportunities where appropriate
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver a high-quality client experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Financial Planning role
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills

Package

  • Competitive Basic salary dependant on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus (with no upper earning limit longer term)
