MERJE are working with a well-known Insurance company for a hire of an Actuarial Manager at the Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary level. This role will be integral to the Business Planning and Capital Management of the Actuarial strategy.
You will be tasked with liaising with wider Actuarial and Finance teams to support the drive of what the business wants to do next and increase traction in a competitive market. The work you do actually makes a difference, and you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Looking at Assumptions and Methodologies around products and Actuarial decisions.
- Backing up your work with research and data across the sector and industry.
- Working in a similar role that involves Capital Management, Business Planning, Reporting, and Modelling.
- Carrying out research and presenting to senior stakeholders.
We are looking for Actuaries across Life and Health insurance at the Newly Qualified level (or waiting/sitting the final exams). Applicants must be located and eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
