Role Overview & Purpose
Multinational General Insurance business, with a UK head office in Yorkshire are expanding their Compliance function with the addition of an experienced Compliance Business Partner.
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will provide 2nd Line support, advice, guidance and challenge, at all stages of the compliance management process. The business operates a very flexible hybrid working policy with 1 β 2 days per week required in the office.
Role responsibilities.
- To ensure all regulatory developments are identified, summarised, communicated, assessed for impact, and tracked through to implementation.
- To horizon scan and provide relevant summaries and support to ensure your business area is fully equipped to meet any regulatory requirements
- To co-ordinate and oversee regulatory initiatives
- Providing Compliance advice and guidance on new products, new business opportunities, and changes to existing business relationships products.
- Assist in delivering regulatory compliance and fair customer outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to the Compliance and Internal Controls policies.
- To conduct and support 2nd line monitoring and understand any risks or gaps that need to be addressed.
Personal Attributes & Experience
- Detailed knowledge of FCA regulation in relation to the Insurance sector
- Experience within a Compliance role providing regulatory advice and guidance to the business.
- Strong business partnering / stake holder expertise
- Planning and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Compliance qualification or equivalent level of experience
